Monotype prints
It is called monotype or monoprint because it only exist one example of it - the edition is only 1.
Created on a plate of whatever material one find. the print-plate is inked and printed by hand on high quality acidfree printing paper.
The inking is done by hand directly on the plate. Additions by collage or embossing of some type can be added.
Or one can sew in the print with cotton- or linen thread.
